It’s Time To Vote!

It’s hard to believe, but we are very close to November’s election that will reshape the Minneapolis City Council through the next two years. As a matter of fact, early voting is happening NOW!

Following Neighbors for More Neighbors’ (N4MN) successful organizing efforts in March to get 55 pro-housing delegates registered for DFL caucuses, the organization is working to continue elevating housing policy as a key campaign issue for candidates in every ward across the city.

Last week, N4MN took another step in that effort by publishing its 2023 Minneapolis Candidate Housing Questionnaire. In partnership with Inquilinxs Unidxs, the Metropolitan Consortium of Community Developers, and WedgeLIVE, this questionnaire aims to help Minneapolis voters understand where each candidate stands on issues that shape whether every person can find and afford a home in Minneapolis. And with the recent court ruling against Minneapolis’ 2040 Plan, it is important to know which candidates support a future that includes an abundance of affordable housing options for people looking to call Minneapolis home.

We encourage you to share this resource with your friends and neighbors to understand where candidates in your ward stand on the future of housing policy in Minneapolis. We have invited all candidates to respond to this questionnaire, and we will continue to accept responses and thank those who have participated. Their responses are published verbatim.

We will continue to update our supporters with important voting resources through the election season. In the meantime, click here for additional information on the 2023 November elections.
